I have three books published by this company–I know from reading after 1900.  Can you tell me anything about their value?  I have A Christmas Carol, Scarlett Letter, and Greek Heroes.  All are small green volumes with a picture centered in the lower half.  Printing and detail on embossing appears to be gold.  thanks.

I’m not certain if this is a question in the realm of your expertise, but I thought I would ask.

I am wondering if it is better as far as value goes to protect a books existing dust jacket by covering it with some kind of clear vinyl adhesive material or something similar.
